Perhaps you have already sung Part I of Handel's Messiah as well as the famous "Hallelujah Chorus".
Your chance to sing or to sing again this wonderful work can become real each year on one Sunday in December in the American Cathedral in Paris, 23 Avenue George V, 75008 Paris.
There's no musical event more typically anglo-saxon than a"Messiah Sing Along". You, the public (supported by the members of the Paris Choral Society seated amongst you in the Cathedral), will sing this work. Maybe you already can sing the whole of the Messiah or maybe you can sing only bits and pieces of it or maybe none of it. Who cares. Your pleasure will come from participating. Or if you wish, simply listening. Why not?
Once again this year Zachary Ullery, the Director of Music of the American Cathedral , will lead professional soloists and the public in the Cathedral for the mutual enjoyment of all.
This event is also an occasion for the Paris Choral Society to raise funds to finance its other concerts.
No reservation is required. Tickets can be purchased at the door the day of the performance (€15 general admission €10 student) . If you do not have a score, you may rent one at the door (€5 or even better you may purchase your own score (€10)) and you will be ready for another year.
