Messiah Sing-Along

Perhaps you have already sung Part I of Handel's Messiah as well as the famous "Halleluja Chorus".
Or perhaps you have dreamt of singing it ! Or yet again the idea of singing it thrills you...!

Your chance to sing or to sing again this wonderful work can become real each year; this year it can happen on Sunday 12 December at 3pm in the American Cathedral in Paris, 23 Avenue George V, 75008 Paris.

There's no musical event more typically anglo-saxon than a"Messiah Sing Along". You, the public (supported by the members of the Paris Choral Society seated amongst you in the Cathedral) will sing this work. Maybe you already can sing the whole of the Messiah or maybe you can sing only bits and pieces of it or maybe none of it. Who cares. Your pleasure will come from participating. Or if you wish, simply to listen. Why not?

Zachery Ullery and Andrew Dewar, both professional musicians at the Cathedral will respectively direct and accompany on the organ; the solos will be sung by four professional singers.

 This event is also an occasion for the Paris Choral Society to raise funds to finance its other concerts.

No reservation is required. Tickets costing 15€ can be purchased at the door the day of the performance. If you do not have a score, you may rent one for 5€ or even better for 10€ you may purchase your own score which can be ready for another year.
